SATO offers onsite or back to base service for most printer brands. At SATO we have a dedicated certified service team that puts a great deal of effort into building its reliable services and are committed to offering its customers the best and trustworthy customer support everyday.

Service Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Mon to Fri.

Service rates for Time and Materials repair:
  • Hourly charge out rate of NZD$130.00 plus gst or part thereof ( a minimum of 1 hour will apply ).
  • On-site call out charge NZD$60.00 plus gst.
  • Travel time charges NZD$130.00 per hour plus gst or part thereof ( charged from SATO to site and back ).

1. SATO Zen

Our most comprehensive service plan yet SATO Zen lets you enjoy complete peace of mind when it comes to your barcode label printers. For just 10% of the recommended retail price of your printer per year we will cover any repairs to the value of 200% of the buy price of your equipment.* SATO Zen can be purchased for all brands of barcode printers that SATO represent. Benefits of SATO Zen include:

  • Highly trained and certified technicians
  • Return freight via ground
  • All repairs include cleaning and adjustment

2. SATO Healthcheck

Regular checks are important to keep your equipment in excellent working order and the SATO Healthcheck program is designed for just this. Rather than prescribe a "one size fits all" six monthly check our representatives will recommend healthchecks at intervals to suit the environment and usage of your printer.

Healthchecks include:
  • Full professional clean status check of key parts and diagnostics report
  • Printhead balance
  • Adjustment of ribbon take up and supply tensions
  • All drive and timing belts checked
  • Priority status in the queue for repairs immediately following your check
  • 10% discount on parts for work done immediately following your check
  • On site Healthcheck available by special arrangement*
